I am in a situation where I need to proceed with a teacher's appeal review. My wife is a teacher, and she says she received a disposition of one month's suspension as a teacher disciplinary action. However, from what my wife tells me, it seems to be a very unfair situation and that she received the disposition unjustly. So I am thinking of proceeding with a teacher's appeal review, but I know nothing about it.. Could I possibly receive help with proceeding?

I understand that you have inquired about a teacher's appeal review.
Generally, the disciplinary actions that can be imposed on a person holding the status of a teacher are divided into a total of six types, ranging from a reprimand to removal.
Even if you receive a light disciplinary action, such as a reprimand or suspension, the actual damage sustained can be significant.
In addition, disadvantages may arise in future personnel evaluations.
Therefore, you should never take it lightly and should make efforts to cancel the unjust disposition or lower its level by proceeding with a teacher's appeal review.
An appeal review is a legal procedure carried out when an educational public official (such as a teacher) objects to a disciplinary disposition by the Ministry of Education or an office of education.
For this, you must state in the appeal review application the grounds for objecting to the disciplinary disposition and the specific reasons for them, and attach materials that can prove its unfairness.
At this point, you must file the application within 30 days from the day on which you became aware of the disciplinary disposition.
Because this is a very short period, it can be difficult to prepare perfectly.
Therefore, in order to obtain the desired result through a teacher's appeal review, it may be wise to prepare thoroughly by consulting with an administrative attorney.
This is because an administrative attorney can help you secure objective evidence to prove the unfairness of the disciplinary action.
In addition, if the result of the teacher's appeal is unsatisfactory, they can assist all the way through to administrative litigation proceedings.
Therefore, if you are considering proceeding with a teacher's appeal review, you may wish to consult with an administrative attorney.
