After being commissioned as a prosecutor at the Seoul Southern District Branch, he spent a long career as a prosecutor and division chief prosecutor at the Mokpo Branch of the Gwangju District Prosecutors' Office, the Busan District Prosecutors' Office, the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office, the Uijeongbu District Prosecutors' Office, the Jeonju District Prosecutors' Office, the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office, the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office, and the Busan High Prosecutors' Office, accumulating diverse investigative experience. In addition, during his many years as a private attorney, he took on and handled cases not only in the criminal field but also in civil, administrative, tax, and many other fields, and carried out broad activities such as serving as advisory counsel to Busan City and Pusan National University, chairman of the Investigation Objection Review Committee of the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, a criminal mediation member of the Busan District Prosecutors' Office, and an adjunct professor at Pusan National University Law School.
